Box A: a slow, high-capacity box that has already finished downloading the original files.
Seeding box B: a fast, high-bandwidth box for getting first releases or grabbing upload traffic on the site.
Core configuration: confirm Box A's client listening port (not the WebUI port — usually found under Connection in the settings).
Workflow
Box A: Preprocessing
Complete the seeding operation on Box A and grab the generated .torrent file.
Add this torrent back to Box A, and note the following:
Uncheck “Auto Start” (Start Torrent).
Check “Skip Hash Check”.
Key step: open the torrent's Tracker list, delete all Tracker URLs (so Box A doesn't report traffic to the public trackers and skew the stats).
Box B: Bootstrap Setup
Add the same torrent file to Box B.
Uncheck “Auto Start”.
In the torrent's “Users/Peers” tab on Box B, manually add the Peer.
Format: 资源盒 A 的公网 IP:监听端口
Make sure Box B's save path is empty (or at least that it can't accidentally delete Box A's files).
Start the Transfer
Start Box A's torrent first.
Then start Box B's torrent. Box B will now pull data directly from Box A through the manually added Peer.
Advanced Optimization and Caveats
Traffic tuning:
Dynamically adjust Box A's upload speed limit based on the number of leechers.
The principle: the more leechers, the lower Box A's limit should be (let Box B's high-speed upload serve everyone else, with Box A acting only as the initial seed source).
Port forwarding: make sure Box A's listening port is open in the firewall or on the router; otherwise Box B won't be able to connect.
Safety reminder:
Some sites strictly prohibit box-to-box traffic boosting, so make sure Box A's Tracker has been completely removed and its upload isn't recorded.
After the transfer finishes, if Box B needs to report its upload normally, make sure its Tracker list is intact and working.
Recommended Tools
For frequent operations, use qBittorrent's “Manually Add Peers” feature — it's the most stable option for this kind of task. For batch operations across multiple sites, pair it with automation helpers like Vertex or IYU.
